3216 infrared LED is a common infrared light-emitting diode with high performance and wide range of applications. The LED is packaged in 3216, the metric size is 3.2mm x 1.6mm, and the imperial specification name is 1206 smd led, so it is called 3216 infrared LED.
3216 infrared LED materials include semiconductor materials and packaging materials. Semiconductor materials usually use gallium arsenide (GaAs) or aluminum gallium arsenide (AlGaAs), which can emit infrared light under a specific current.
